Founded in September, 2008, Middletown Self Storage is a brand new business but not brand new at the business. We have years of experience providing superior customer service and peerless products! Lifelong residents of Aquidneck Island, (which includes three communities: Newport, Middletown and Portsmouth) Bob and I have our spotless reputation to uphold! We were builders of single family residences here on the island for 28 years before undertaking the storage project. Hundreds of island residents credit us with making not only houses, but homes for them. Jonna is the creative partner and designer of everything from jewelry and clothing to homes and this storage facility. Bob is the businessman/builder, forging those designs into reality. A perfect marriage of talents that has made us into a force to be reckoned with.

But enough about us, what about Middletown Self Storage? We don’t take lightly our motto: ‘Aquidneck Island’s Premier Storage Facility’. Not only is it the newest facility on the island (maybe in Rhode Island, too) but also it is state of the art when it comes to technology.

CLIMATE AND HUMIDITY-CONTROLLED
Humidity is the nemesis of storage goods. Don’t worry! Our storage facility is brand new, state of the art, climate and humidity controlled! It takes more than heat and air conditioning to call yourself humidity controlled. Don’t let others fool you into thinking they are specifically humidity controlled. We have done the work and installed the right equipment to safeguard your belongings for years and years! You can rest assured when you store with Middletown Self Storage, your possessions are safe!

GROUND LEVEL ACCESS
Because of our unique hillside location, no matter what floor your unit is located on, every one of our 512 units is accessible from ground level! We have two levels of storage, but you never have to use the stairs!!

SUPER SECURITY
Includes live and video surveillance ( recorded and archived weekly)

INDIVIDUALLY ALARMED UNITS
All 512 of them which means that the computer logs and archives each and every time a tenant keys into the building , every time he opens his unit door and every time he closes it.

LIGHTING
You can feel safe because our facility is well lit at night both inside and out. Inside, the lighting is automatic, using motion sensors to light as you go.

MUSIC
We spoil our customers with XM satellite music piped directly into the storage area!
